Walking in atmosphere is moderatly upscale, I would recommend casual sheek. The manager was at the hostess stand and sat me right near the window, with a nice view. Water glasses were a little beat up so they looked dirty. I tried to order a specialty cocktail but they were out of the liquor to make it on a Friday night. I settled for a mock tail (above average). I ordered the wood fired lasagna and received bread as an appetizer. The lasagna was good and hot until I hit the center, which was room temperature. For dessert I had the peanut butter and chocolate pie, which was excellent if you enjoy a creamy peanut butter with a nice chocolate ganache. Next time I would return for a different entree, but the staff were attentive and friendly. The price and portion was equivalent.
Place was delicious! Staff was super nice and was able to answer all our questions. Atmosphere was amazing too. Food came out hot and quick. Will definitely be returning.
The staff is outstanding. Hands-down, one of the friendliest and most helpful servers. They go above and beyond for families with kids. Appreciated that. Prices are on the higher side. Vegano pizza is small. Vegan burger is very filling with a side of fries (extra charge for sweet potatoes). Music was a bit too loud and did not fit the otherwise more elegant ambience. Please consider making vegan sauces also, especially when offering them on the vegan menu 🙏🏼 — a pleasant experience overall, definitely recommend!
We celebrated my sister's 60th birthday here (one of my favorite local restaurants) and it was her 1st time dining here. She fell in love from the moment she entered. The atmosphere, excellent customer service, the manager checking in on us and cracking a few good jokes and making sure we were having a good time all contributed to this being an amazing day for her. They always strive to make every moment special and I've never had a bad service experience here. I don't know how they continue to hire such wonderful staff but they should offer a training course to some of the other restaurants around here! If you're visiting Jackson, MS I definitely recommend you try this restaurant! It's a local favorite. Thanks Bravo team for making this evening for my sister one to remember.
Sat in front of the pantry station, I had the very best conversations with the chefs 👩🍳! Jeff has a talented team cooking the very best in Italian cuisine. The shrimp and scallops were amazing, seasoned to perfection, light and airy! Caesar salad with homemade croutons that were rich and tasty! Can't be topped!
My very first experience here was awesome! We chose to dine outside and it was nice! I ordered the lump crab pasta! It was delicious. It was even enough for seconds. The Sunset beverage was tasty. My waiter was very informative, prompt, and nice. 5 stars. I will come back!
This place is good. Not great, but good. That’s the gist of my experience both times I’ve eaten here.
They take risks with the food that I can appreciate, but for the most part they fall a little flat.
For example the bruschetta was more of a cooked “stew” with a really good toast. Wasn’t what I was expecting and it was a little mediocre, but still good. The fried polenta with a mushroom sauce and parsley was again interesting but not as good as it sounded.
Finally I had the veal Parmesan that was mixed with a fettuccine Alfredo. Very heavy sauce and the veal was dry. Good, but not great.
The service is where it’s at. My drink rarely went to empty. The wait staff was very attentive, friendly, and conversational. The atmosphere is nice and fairly modern.
I will be back each time I’m in Jackson.
Absolutely delicious! Came in for a Sunday brunch and loved it! Wife have the blackened chicken alfredo and I had a pizza! We will definitely be coming back again! Highly recommend. Waitress was extremely nice and helpful.
